What other veritable forum other than the just concluded Lagos Food Security Summit and Exhibition, organized by the Office of the Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor and the State Ministry of Agriculture could have brought together an array of once-upon-a-time foot soldiers under Mr. Adeola Soetan,the  Garrison Commander/President of the Student Union Government of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

We are grateful to God, the foot soldiers have now graduated to become food and agribusiness champions in our respective fields of endeavors.

We have resolved to pool our resources and technical expertise to support the road map of the state government of the day in their effort to ensure a sustainable food security across all the states of the federation.

The theme of the summit “Actualizing Sustainable Food Security in Lagos State: A New, Comprehensive Agenda” is achievable.

We are partners in progress as regards fostering food security and also optimally exploring the agricultural value chain potentials. The clear road map to feed the citizenry is a task that must be done collectively.

He is a seasoned Food Technologist and Agribusiness expert with wide and rich industry experience that cut across reputable organization like Guinness Plc, Crown Cork and Seal, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals (now Neimeth Pharmaceuticals), Livestock Feeds Plc. and Tantalizers Plc. He a a Media and Communication Consultant to the Lagos State Fadama Coordination Office (SFCO) and the Lagos State Coconut Development Authority (LASCODA) in addition to being a Technical Partner to the Lagos State Consumer Protection Authority (LASCOPA). He is married with children and loves playing table tennis as well as travelling.
