
RESTAURANT OWNERS MEETS, CALLS FOR FG, STATE, LG SUPPORT

The President of the Restaurants, Cafes, Bars and Clubs (RCBC) Association, Barrister, Morenike George Taylor has called on Federal, States and Local Governments to always support hospitality industry for the overall economic development in the country.
Speaking at the Restaurant, Cafes, Bars and Clubs Association Cocktail evening that took place on Wednesday, 26th February, 2025 at Shiro Restaurant, Lagos Nigeria, George Taylor noted that the hospitality industry needs a very strong support from the government in all ramifications.
She emphasized that hospitality industry serves as a very strong catalyst for revival, rejuvenation and development of any country economy.
The President of the Association, George Taylor also spoke about the need for cooperation in the hospitality space while the RCBC Director of Partnerships popularly known as Chef Gibbs spoke of the upcoming Nigerian Food Summit to further boost the nations’s economy development
She emphasized “The hospitality industry needs support from the government and through collaboration a lot can be achieved” – Morenike George Taylor noted.
The event was well attended by the Hon. Minister of Tourism with representation as well as the Special Adviser to the President on Capacity Development, Sadiq Rabiu. And privileged to be among the stakeholders at the elite cocktail evening was the CEO of Respitality Care Company and the Convener of the Restaurant Managers Conference (#RMC), Mr. Rasaq Oke who was full of praises for the President of RCBC Association for extending this hand of fellowship to him to be in attendance.
