It’s a rare privilege and singular honour to meet Mr. Ajibade Yusuf, who belongs to the class of Nigerians in the Diaspora doing the nation proud. With Mr. Ajibade Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Kingston University, Executive MBA from Manchester Business School and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with over 19years of financial and management experience, obviously this has excluded him from the group of Nigerians that are termed ‘lazy’

Mr. Ajibade was head of Financial Reporting at HSBC Securities Services Guernsey, where he served as a member of Audit & Risk committee for various offshore Investment funds. He also provides advice to Board of Directors on technical accounting and regulatory matters. Mr. Ajibade has extensive offshore fund industry experience holding a number of positions working for BlackRock Inc, State Street Bank, Credit Suisse, Deutche Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Investec Asset management.

 

Mr. Ajibade specialization and focus includes Fund Administration, Depository Bank, Asset Management, Risk & Governance, Regulatory & Financial Reporting, and Fund Consulting. He sit on the board of Gradient Consulting Africa (GCA). GCA is one of Africa’s leading Business & Investment and Regulatory Risks consulting firms based in Luxembourg.

He has a milk of kindness flowing in him; this is what drew the FoodpreneurNews management team to him. Give him a little opportunity, he won’t stop talking passionately about how he loved his country of birth, despite the fact that he has spent over 30years abroad, and want to contribute his quota to the socio-economic growth of Nigeria and the inhabitants, not minding the race or religion., which the political office holders are using to divide us. Based in Europe, he is presently the Vice President of Belgium Luxembourg-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce. He is an Anti-corruption and Good governance activist.

He a a Media and Communication Consultant to the Lagos State Fadama Coordination Office (SFCO) and the Lagos State Coconut Development Authority (LASCODA) in addition to being a Technical Partner to the Lagos State Consumer Protection Authority (LASCOPA). He is married with children and loves playing table tennis as well as travelling.
