Would you agree with me that Education is not complete without cooking as an extra-curricular activity?
Cooking activities aid the development of creative skills in children. It help also to develop the competitive nature as well as mental development of a child. While participation in cooking competition encourages love, togetherness and family bonding among them.
Cooking is a fundamental activity capable of promoting comprehensive development.
And that is why from my culinary adventures all through the South western region in Nigeria, I came to the conclusion that it is an aspect of education that should be made compulsory in the curriculum. And that parents and guardians should continue to encourage their wards to participate in various cooking activity both at home, in the school and in the neighborhood.
