Food is my life

My earthly journey onto ‘food’ has shown me that food provides solution to all situations in life be it medical, physical and emotional.
I can recall a moment when I approached an animal health/ livestock feed manufacturing plant for my compulsory National Youth Service scheme and was nearly turned back by the human resource officer who bluntly told me that there was no correlation between food and feed.
I remembered telling him intelligently, that my prior trainings in food science and technology have taught me that animal feed manufacturing is an integral part of human food chain where the demand for animal protein is important.
Now, there is no better way to see the correlation between foods and feeds than in the premix plant of these livestock feeds companies where they produce the concentrates of vitamins supplements for poultry, pig and cattle rations.
My interest and passion for food which later took me on European feed tour where I interacted with professionals across the globe has opened my eyes to a lot interesting angles in worldly affairs.

Now, people see as an accomplished food writer, forgetting that behind every successful posts there a lot of unsuccessful attempts. Friends that hitherto rejected me, now meet me and greet me. All because of food.

I realized lately that it is better to pursue my passion which is food than to continue chasing money.

So, no matter how bad it is and no matter how bad it get, I will not stop writing and talking about food until I make it.

I can see clearly now that “Food is my life”
